Introducing ioMirror E3210—the newest peer-to-peer Active Ethernet I/O server from MOXA

May 29, 2007

Taipei, Taiwan, May 29, 2007—MOXA, a leading manufacturer of device networking products, is pleased to announce the release of the ioMirror E3210, the newest product from MOXA's revolutionary ioMirror line of high-speed, peer-to-peer, Active Ethernet I/O servers . EDS-305-M12

The ioMirror peer-to-peer Ethernet I/O servers are a new generation of I/O server that use the Ethernet and IP networks to extend the distance between digital inputs and digital outputs. By using an existing Ethernet and IP network infrastructure, a wide range of applications (e.g., multiple intrusion detection, fluid level sensors, and alarm signals) can be extended to multiple locations without needing to lay additional transmission lines. The transmission speed between a DI and DO can be as high as 20 ms over an Ethernet network. By keeping the time delay small, the ioMirror E3210 can be used for applications such as fluid level monitoring and transmitting the optical sensor signals used in conveyor belt systems. In addition, the ioMirror E3210 is the most easy to use peer-to-peer Ethernet I/O server. Configuration can be carried out with a browser over the network, and with only 4 steps required, you can expect to set up all signal mappings in under 5 minutes. In fact, the process is made even easier since no programming is required.

''We are committed to delivering the best quality products with the most innovative features to our customers,'' said Andy Cheng, director of MOXA's Data Acquisition and Control business unit.''The ioMirror represents MOXA's commitment to deliver easy-to-use, innovative Active Ethernet I/O servers to our customers.''
