Moxa to show its full range of products at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2007
Oct 30, 2007
Taipei, Taiwan, October 30, 2007—Moxa is happy to announce its participation in the SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2007 exhibition, the leading exhibition for electric automation technology, which will be held in Nuremberg, Germany, from November 27 to 29, 2007. This year, Moxa will feature topics related to the industrial automation field, and display its full range of products suitable for industrial device networking solutions. Be sure to visit us at Hall 9, Booth No. 111, and while you're there help us celebrate Moxa's 20th anniversary.
Founded in 1987, Moxa is now one of the leading providers of industrial device networking solutions worldwide, and is known for providing a comprehensive selection of products for networking applications. At this 3-day event, Moxa will unveil the following innovative communication solutions for industrial automation:
Ethernet in Automation
Wireless in Automation
Embedded Computing in Automation
"Ethernet in Automation" and "Wireless in Automation" are both hot topics that will be covered at the exhibition and conference this year. Moxa will present its wide range of industrial-grade products that can be used on one Ethernet network, from the information level to the device level. Products include an L3 gigabit switch, IP67 switch, PoE switch, industrial embedded computers, and industrial serial to Ethernet device servers. In addition, devices can be connected to a wireless network by using Moxa's industrial-grade wireless (802.11a/b/g) or cellular (GSM/GPRS) products. Moxa offers extensive solutions for wireless networking, wireless embedded computing, and wireless serial connectivity. Another field that will be highlighted is embedded computing for automation. Moxa's X86 and RISC-based embedded computers come with embedded Linux or Windows CE built in and a -40 to 75°C operating temperature range, making them ideal for use in industrial automation applications.
Also of interest is a special "Ethernet in Power Automation" display. Moxa will show you a series of Ethernet devices that allow power applications to operate more reliably over Ethernet-based networks. One product line that will be particularly attractive to substation automation engineers is Moxa's latest IEC 61850-3 PowerTrans series of rackmount Ethernet switches, which are designed for use in electric utility substation environments.
