TRENDnet Expands its Award Winning Wireless N Portfolio with the High Performance Wireless N Gigabit Router

TORRANCE, Calif. –September 12, 2007– TRENDnet , a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions today makes available the Wireless N Gigabit Router (TEW-633GR). Designed around extreme performance and unparalleled quality of service, this router provides users with the ultimate networking experience.

The Wireless N Gigabit Router is designed for performance. An optimized Atheros xspaNTM chipset forms the engine behind eye popping wireless throughput speeds. Three external antennas utilizing Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology boost wireless signal range, signal strength and transfer speeds. One Gigabit Wide Area Network port and four Gigabit Local Area Network ports provide the fastest content download and transfer speeds available.

This high performance router is well protected. The most advanced wireless security protocols (up to WPA2-PSK) are supported. For ultimate control, a unique wireless on/off button allows users to instantly turn off the wireless signal while maintaining wired networking. Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) allows users to securely synchronize wireless peripheral devices at the touch of a button. A firewall featuring Network Attached Translation (NAT and NAPT) and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) protect against over 2000 unique documented Internet attacks.

TRENDnet's Wireless N Gigabit Router performs seamlessly. In the most demanding loading environments, industry leading StreamEngineTM Quality of Service (QoS) technology by Ubicom eliminates lag by prioritizing bandwidth for latency-sensitive applications. Additionally, pre-defined game hosting configurations and port triggering for 24 special applications further support a premium user experience.
